Hannah is s a proud Ward 3 resident who believes that excellence in education is possible for all Winnipeg students.

Hannah has a unique understanding of the contemporary student experience having been raised in the public education system, then graduating from Grant Park High School in 2015. She understands the challenges students and families faced during Covid-19 having navigated virtual and distance learning herself. Hannah has attended four post-secondary institutions during her academic career, most recently having studied International Studies and Modern Languages at the University of Ottawa. Hannah also attended University Jean Moulin III, a public university in Lyon, France which helped deepen her appreciation for the potential Winnipeg schools could deliver with the right advocate.

Hannah has worked for several local community organizations including the Ukrainian Canadian Congress and B’nai Brith Canada. She served on the Board of Directors for Manitobans for Human Rights and is an active volunteer with Manitoba Operation Blue Skies, helping Ukrainian refugees rebuild their lives in Winnipeg after fleeing Russia’s brutal war on Ukraine. Hannah has worked as a political organizer and on Parliament Hill, which has given her the acumen to navigate our political system, advocate effectively for her constituents, and negotiate with all levels of government.

Hannah also runs several popular social media accounts through which she engages, educates, and inspires people of all ages to participate fully in our democracy.

Having been raised by parents who always valued public education very highly, one of whom is a devoted and caring early-years educator, Hannah can be trusted to always fight for the things that matter most to you in education.
